STIHL built this petrol lawn mower with a sheet steel deck, equipped it with a 46 cm cutting width, and included a single point height adjustment that you can adjust between 20 – 100 mm. The EVC 205 engine starts easily, allowing you to effortlessly get to work. On a full tank of fuel, you can mow lawns up to 1200 m2 with the RM 248.
Versatile Mowing Options
The RM 248 offers 4 different ways of mowing without requiring additional tools. However, we recommend referring to the owner’s manual before working. You can:
- Cut & collect with the grass catcher box fitted
- Cut & drop by removing the grass catcher box
- Side discharge with the flap that is integrated into the deck
- Mulch with the multi-blade and mulching attachment
Comfort and Convenience
The comfort mono-handlebar allows easy access to the grass catcher box, making it easier to remove and empty when it’s full. Thanks to the fill level indicator on the 52-litre grass catcher box, you’ll know exactly when to empty it. The ergonomically designed grass catcher box is easy to fully open for fast emptying. The sturdy mono-handlebar is height adjustable and foldable for compact storage after use.
Highlift Blade for Precise Cutting
The highlift blade gives a precise finish to the lawn and ensures optimal filling of the grass catcher box. The blade creates a strong air current in the housing, which makes the grass stand upright before cutting and efficiently carries the clippings into the catcher box using an integrated and powerful air flow system.
Central Cut-Height Adjustment for Optimal Results
You can adjust the cutting height on your STIHL lawn mower easily and in several levels. A scale shows the current height. Central cut-height adjustment allows you to optimally adapt your mowing to the conditions of the lawn.
